Kelsy's Birthday

Today is Kelsy's 9th birthday. We will be having a family birthday party for her tomorrow. She received a nice birthday present on Monday from her Grandma Noelle. It was a porcelain doll. Kelsy loved it. She had a new outfit to wear to school today, and got Horse grooming tools of her very own from her Grandpa Wiscombe, so she can groom her horse, Tasha.

Halloween

Today is Halloween. Kelsy is a Teen Witch. She has a cute little black skirt, and a black shirt. We bought her a black and purple witch hat, and some cute purple, black and orange socks. She also has a black cape. She is so cute. At school today they are having a Halloween parade. Her math class is also having an ice cream party because they won the best door contest. After school we will be going Trick or Treating down main street in town. The local merchants always have a safe Halloween Trick or Treat up and down the main street of town, and she loves going. Then we will be spending the evening at Grandma and Grandpa Wiscombe's house. They always have hot apple cider and doughnuts.

Kelsy at the fair

Kelsy went to the Utah State Fair with her Grandpa Wiscombe yesterday, September 8th. She had so much fun. They saw rabbits, cows, geese, roosters, chickens, horses, art, etc. She said the best part was that she got to pet a rabbit, and it was so soft. They also got to see a Free Rodeo at the fair. This was her first rodeo. She loved it. She asked her grandpa, "Can we come again next year?"

She had earned a free ticket to the Fair this summer while participating in the Summer Reading Program at the City Library. You had to read 5 books all by yourself and then mail in the form to get your ticket. She did it the first day she got the form.

I'm so proud of her, and glad she got to spend this special time with her grandpa.
